Nikki has had a life-long interest in supporting Deaf children and their families. Nikki worked with ages 3 — 11 years but also has experience of working with older children and their families. As part of her undergraduate studies, she chose to study BSL as a language option and to combine her Education studies with music. As part of her studies, Nikki completed dissertations and studies around childhood deafness and formulated case studies taken from her own practice on the use of Cued Speech. Nikki offered BSL and Cued Speech clubs to schools as extracurricular activities and has worked with her current school to provide both as a taught subject.
